Nativity Academy supports the entire life of our bright, motivated students from morning classes to afternoon study and enrichment, during the summer months, and all the way through high school and college preparation. Our academic program is based on the curriculum of the Archdiocese of Louisville that prepares students for admission to Catholic secondary schools, should their families choose that option.
Nativity Academy has accreditation in the state of Kentucky as a non-public school. All facets of the academic program are taught in Gender Specific classes. In addition to the core academic subjects listed in our Curriculum below, our experimental learning component includes field trips, workshops, and guest speakers.
Everyday, our students receive breakfast, lunch and a snack, at no extra charge, to keep them fueled during their busy days at Nativity Academy.
This mandatory program provides beneficial continuity to the student’s academic studies, with additional opportunities for educational field trips throughout our community (University of Louisville’s Science Technology Engineering and Math Labs, Louisville Water Company, Bernheim Forest, American Printing House for the Blind, Ali/Louisville Slugger Museums).
Summer Program also broadens the minds of our students and educates them on the attributes and needs within the inner city. Social orientation classes are also offered, such as Conflict Resolution and Respectful Attitudes.
