Graduate Support Program

  The Nativity Academy family of adult staff, mentors, and volunteers support our graduates throughout both high school and into post secondary education. Not only by helping secure scholarships and loans, but teaching them how to create positive relationships with their families, their high schools and colleges, and building competencies inside the academic arena and within their communities.

 
Currently, Nativity Academy’s GSP is supporting 162 graduates. 71 graduates are currently enrolled in high school. 26 are enrolled in public high schools (36.1%), and 45 are enrolled in Catholic high schools (62.5%) in Louisville, KY.

 
We also have 91 college-aged graduates. We have 41 Nativity Graduates currently enrolled in the following colleges: University of Louisville, Jefferson Community & Technical College Transfer Program, University of Kentucky, Colorado State University, Sullivan University, Pikeville University, Morehead State University, Armed Forces, Simmons College, Benedict College, Eastern Kentucky University, Western Kentucky University, Bellarmine University, Bluegrass Community & Technical College, Oberlin College, Spencerian, Spalding University, Xavier University, Northern Kentucky University, and Youth Build.

• Assistance completing applications (FAFSA, PSAS, college applications, etc.)
• Resources for GED, ACT, SAT, and GRE test preparation
• College Tours
• Information about upcoming events, fairs, programs and scholarship opportunities
• Support  necessary to keep our students successful, or get them back  on track.  Those within the Nativity community have 24/7 access to GSP staff.
