Nativity Academy is a private middle school (grades 6-8) in the Catholic tradition, offering educational excellence to boys and girls of academic promise from low-income families. Nativity gives priority to children who are eligible for the Federal Lunch Program.

The school currently serves 61 children of all faiths, from all over Metro Louisville, who desire an academically-challenging, personalized, and supportive environment.  There are more than 50 Nativity Academy graduates in various Jefferson County public, private, and Catholic high schools.

The first NativityMiguel school opened in 1971 in the lower east-side of Manhattan.  Today, there are 64 NativityMiguel schools serving over 4,300 boys and girls in 27 states.  For more information about the NativityMiguel model or network, visit www.nativitymiguelschools.org. Nativity Academy in Louisville is the only NativityMiguel school in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio.
